Since 2008

Wow, I feel like such a slacker. I have not posted anything since 2008. I have been very busy. The time that goes by between the busy summer seasons for work go by so quickly. Basically from July to Oct I am travelling all over CA. This year we started our training with the Department of Justice very early. Around early may. It will be even earlier in 2010. I love working for the Army in CA and being able to be outdoors enjoying the beautiful places of CA. My time in this job is growing very short though. I should say my time in this position, because I still plan to work full time for the Army. My wife is praying, and me too, that I will get a position that will allow me to be home more and actually enjoy time with our children. I really haven't had a real summer to go and play with them.

This next year will not be any easier. I will be deploying with my Army National Guard unit overseas for a year. There are many things I will miss and I don't really want to be away from my family. However, It's my duty. I know that sounds corny but it's how I feel. Even though I may not always agree with decision made by our leaders, I still have to fullfill my duty. Anyway.......

I thought that I would be spending more time at home, but I have been on TDY so much between my NG Unit and my full time job that I really haven't been home much since July of this year. It wears on you alot. I do have alot of leave saved up. I will be taking a week off for Thanksgiving and probably one more for Christmas (Tahoe).

I will try to keep more updated on what's happening. I also have been trying to keep my facebook page up to date. If you would like to visit it I will post it somehow.
