Our Girls

One of the great joys in my life is our girls. Our oldest Meilani is 10, Lanea is 8, Kaimilani is 5 and Malia is 2. I love to watch them dance Hula and other polynesian and cultural dances. Meilani and Lanea have been dancing with Multi-Cultural Youth Group (MCYG, a non-profitt organization) for about 4 years. Kaimi has been dancing about 2 years maybe. Malia has just started showing an interst in dancing with her sisters. She gets out there with them and mimics their moves. They all have pretty good rythym. I get alot of joy when I watch them. They are growing up so fast and are so smart. Anikai also dances with some of the adults from the same group. They recently danced at their Auntie's wedding reception in Hawaii at Waimea falls park. Anikai also danced at the reception. I recorded their dancing in hopes to share them with you. The only problem is there is no sound. Enjoy!

So cute and the sound was great! Maybe you had yours turned off. I can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving. Is their hair really that long? Are they wearing wigs? Wowzas!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Redmond for Thanksgiving too. It's always alot of fun.

Yup, that's their real hair. Lanea's is the longest. They all want to donate their hair to locks of love. Their last hula performance for the year is in August at the state fair. We'll see if they really go through with it.

Was clicking through Clint's blog and I found this link to yours. I miss your family, even though we have only actually been able to see each other a few times. What beautiful girls! I can't believe how grown up Meilani is! Wryan is growing so tall like her dad, she is passing Sarah up in size now. Well, just wanted to say hi. Please tell Anikai hello for me also, I have always felt a real kinship with her since we first met. Would be worth a trip to come visit you all some time. Have a good one!
